Our church’s story begins in 1994 with a small group of believers from Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis, with the vision to reach the “South County” area of Anne Arundel County for Christ. We held our first public worship service in fall 1994 in the cafeteria of Lothian Elementary School, with 75 people in attendance and led by our Senior Pastor, Dan Smith.
In August 2002 Dr. Steve Meyerhoff was called be our Senior Pastor, and on Palm Sunday
2003 we had our first worship service in our new building in Davidsonville, MD.
Pastor Meyerhoff faithfully served for 16 years until his retirement in 2018.
In 2020, the congregation called Dr. Jerry Straight to be our Senior Pastor.
He, his wife, and their eight children brought new life to our church. Just a few months into his time with Grace, COVID-19 gripped the entire nation, including churches.
We give God all the glory for blessing us tremendously: during this time we grew as we continued to worship and keep our ministries active.
Pastor Straight faithfully led and discipled us until May 2026, when he informed the congregation that he was being called by God to shepherd a small church in need and move closer to his family.
The Lord has blessed Grace Presbyterian Church PCA with a very faithful congregation and strong ministries. As we pray and seek the Lord for our next pastor, we continue to worship and serve Him faithfully. You are invited to come be part of the next chapter in our story!
