Rev. Dr. David and Suzette Frierson call South Carolina their home state. He was born there, and Suzette spent most of her life there. Her father was in the Air Force, so she has traveled all over the world. Pastor David has five siblings and Suzette has three. Their parents died in the last few years. 

They met in church when they were both in their last year of college. Pastor David graduated from the University of South Carolina and Gordon-Conwell Seminary. Suzette graduated from Columbia Bible College and Stanly Community College school of nursing. Pastor David has served as a PCA pastor since the fall of 1981. Suzette has been a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Nurse Manager for a Crisis Pregnancy Center.

They have three married grown children. Two sons and one daughter. They have nine grandchildren. Their oldest son and his family live near College Station, Texas. Their daughter and her husband live in Sunset Harbor, NC. Their youngest child and his wife live in Burgaw, NC. Pastor David has younger brother in Laurel, MD.

Christy joined the office at Grace in 2017 after managing office relations for 15 years in the Baltimore area. She enjoys participating in Sunday worship, including music team as well as residential visits with shut ins. Christy studied Biological Sciences at the University of Maryland in Catonsville. Having grown up in the local area, she returned in 2004 and lives in Riva with her husband, Don, a native of western North Carolina. She enjoys classic movies, biking, working out with her sister, and Sunday dinner with their local and extended family. 

Sarah was part of the team that planted Grace church back in 1994, and is thrilled to be on staff today. After earning a B.S. in Business Administration, and purchasing a Windows 2 PC, she went on to work in finances and administration before moving to teaching piano and then teaching mathematics, learning technical skills all along the way. (Her dream is to grow up to be a polymath.) A storyteller at heart, Sarah loves to tell God's story in music, and the part of Grace Church's story that is revealed in the finances. When she isn't playing piano, crunching numbers, or helping others with technical issues, Sarah enjoys spending time with her daughter and learning something new from the internet.
